Alex and Elaine have combined for over 50 years of experience in health care. Elaine was a critical care nurse at Stanford and Alex in Physical Therapy at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Alex and Elaine have studied and competed in Ballroom Dance for over 20 years.
Chris Wilder: Founding Board Member of Dance 4 Health, Executive Director for the Valley Medical Center Foundation
Chris has served for 18 years in the Bay Area’s public benefit sector, including the Valley Medical Center (VMC) Foundation for five years, where he raised more money in four years than in the previous sixteen years combined. He is a lifelong professional musician/song writer and an award-winning cable TV producer and host.
Charlotte Jorgensen: International Coach/Judge, Executive Dance Director for Dance 4 Health Care Options
Charlotte began dancing at age 2. She was the World Amateur Champion with her partner Jens Werner. She partnered with Andrew Sinkinson and place placed second in the British, UK, European and World Championships. She participated in the first season of the reality show “Dancing with the Stars”, partnering with actor John O’Hurley. She currently judges and coaches dancing worldwide.
Brent Mills: Owner Dancesport USA and Sound Stream
Brent Mills and “Sound Stream” are the music coordinators for over 50 different Dancesport events nationwide. Brent also coordinated all of the music for “America’s Ballroom Challenge” on PBS and many of his compositions were played for the professional finals. Brent was also the lead designer/consultant for the reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” in season 3.
